High-Pressure Hydraulic Systems
Our High-pressure hydraulic systems are tailored to meet the needs for new installations and for replacement needs in cases where existing hydraulic systems are beyond their life cycle or have been found to be inadequate for today’s stringent operating requirements.

Typical configurations within the high pressure offering include the supply of nitrogen charged pressure accumulators to provide for reserve energy for the safe operation of the prime mover in the event of power loss or emergency shutdown situations.
North American Phoenix provides all required engineering services for the proper sizing of the hydraulics package based on existing system information and/or new system requirements. System sizing is performed in conjunction with well-recognized industry standards based on the specific application.
General characteristics of the high-pressure offering include:
• Simplex or Duplex pump arrangements
• Lead-lag pumping schemes when used
with Duplex pump arrangements
• Black-start capability through use of
secure power service such as DC battery
systems
• Fail-safe control valving architectures
• Operating pressures typically ranging up
to 2,500 psi (system dependent)
• User-friendly on-board filtration systems
• System health monitoring for control
system interconnections
In most cases the hydraulics package is operated through a North American Phoenix Digital Controller system. This configuration is determined based upon the operating needs of the customer including the need for closed-loop frequency regulation of the generating unit.
